A speck of dust in the whole universe- that’s who we are

A single soul like me who continuously strives for the better

I am trying to be capable of getting bigger

Bound to achieve something greater.

Broadcast, Journalist, Radio, and Television- whenever I hear or read those precious words, something inside me is getting ecstatic. Journalism has always been my personal choice; bringing out untold stories to the world is what I believe that I am best at, but it doesn’t end there. I have encountered many people from different walks of life. From my nineteen years of existence that proved my love for writing through different point-of-views, my capability to be humane- to empathize and be kind always, and my small voice that can be amplified whenever I chose to.

There are many choices in communication, but my heart is always set for the masses. I had this personal saying, “puso para sa masa, para sa bayan lamang.” To remind me one of the reasons why I chose this path. My journalism skills aren’t as good as the others, but I have been trying to overcome my public speaking anxiety because I know that I am certain to be courageous sooner or later- to protect the people. I am also trying to indulge myself with what reality offers by assessing socio-political issues, observing my surroundings, and contesting what should be improved in the media realm.

Broadcasting equates to a lot of responsibility. What you publish should always be accurate and credible as it holds your life at stake. I am thrilled to witness soon what Radio or TV anchors do daily at the Stations. I expect to acquire knowledge and skills on what they do in productions and improve my public speaking ability because I am destined to face my fears and be courageous.
